| Designed for reduction
and removal of unwanted spurious signals, harmonics and sidebands
the new AFL Series of coaxial Low Pass Filters from AtlantecRF
provide microwave design engineers and technicians with an “off-the-shelf”
solution to many spectral purity problems.
As stock items, these suspended substrate filters, which are available
with standard cut-off frequencies from 1 to 18 GHz, can be quickly
installed in communications equipment according to operating needs
and as “select-on-test” components prior to commissioning.
The quasi-elliptical function provides typical insertion loss in
the pass-band of 1.2dB with stop band attenuation in excess of 50dB
and power handling of 15 watts CW. In a 50ohm system the input and
output VSWR is 2.0:1 max.
Sizes range from 100 x 60 mm at the lowest frequency to 24 x 20
mm at the highest and all units have a height of 12mm. Connectors
are SMA female to MIL-C-39012, the finish is in matt paint and the
operating temperature range is from -55 to +85 C.
