| Typical gain of standard
units is in the 20 to 25 dB range which is generally sufficient
to compensate for cross-site cable losses while the output power
of +20 dBm at 1 dB gain compression is selected to provide an adequate
drive level for a high power TWT or solid state amplifier.
All the usual transmit and receive bands are covered from 3.6 to
31 GHz while some models will encompass multi band applications
such as C, X and Ku in a single unit.
In addition to the standard models, there is a wide range of options
including multiple outputs, local or remote gain control, additional
gain to 30 dB, 40 dB or higher and improved input and output VSWR
to 1.25 max.
Further customisation is possible with gain slope equalisation,
outdoor housings, filtering and special frequency ranges.
All units operate from an 80 to 240 V, 50 / 60 Hz AC supply via
an IEC connector while RF connectors come in a choice of SMA, type
N or 2.92mm according to customer requirements and frequency range. |
